Split Second
by David Baldacci
An ex Secret Service Agent and an almost ex Secret Service Agent, King and Maxwell see their cherished careers turn to ashes in front of their eyes. Though the incidents for each are eight years apart, they are too many links connecting them.
While King and Maxwell search for the truth while dodging bullets and escaping other death traps, the story makes you want to shout what next at every turn.
A page turner by all means that you would want to finish in one go but the size of the book is such that I had to take breaks in between but I did not like those breaks as the story would keep revolving in the mind taking new aspects.
Enjoyed very much.
