I have to say I am pleased with this ending to the duology. While the beginning and a section in the middle lagged a bit, the battle scenes were fun and I loved when the characters helped one another. I was fully engaged most of the book, with the second half of this book being the best. The characters themselves are very competently written and consistent, so even though the story and plot points might lag for a moment or scene, the characters usually make up for it. Good dialogue just like in the first book too, and the audiobook narrators really bring the story to life. Overall, I just had a fun and thrilling time with this book.
