Capitalist Realism: Is There No Alternative? by Mark Fisher

adventurous challenging hopeful inspiring reflective fast-paced

This is actually my second time reading Capitalist Realism. The first time was during a book club from a few years ago in highschool and it seemed a lot more complicated but I believe that was mostly because that book club had really not-productive conversations where people focused on the micro-scale problems rather than the big picture. This second time has blown my mind. I cannot recommend this book enough, especially after checking out some of the philosophy and cultural references it makes. Definitely check out Meltdown by Nick Land as it will make a small part of it make sense, and check out Pomophobia by Mark Fisher. Both of them are small articles that you can find on the internet.
