IM GONNA CRY ABOUT THIS BOOK FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE OK
(proper full review long overdue but it’S COMING)

I've put off writing a full review for Crooked Kingdom because I am still in awe and overly emotional and I don’t think I can formulate the right words to describe how amazing this book was and how special it was to me!
“I would have come for you. And if I couldn't walk, I'd crawl to you, and no matter how broken we were, we'd fight our way out together-knives drawn, pistols blazing. Because that's what we do. We never stop fighting.”
But let me tell you something about the Six of Crows duology that made me realize how much I actually love it: the CHARACTERS. Yes Inej, Kaz, Nina, Jesper, Matthias, and Wylan!! I've never grown to be very Very attached and immensely emotional to this many characters especially when it's only been two books! Props to Leigh for such well done and excellent character arcs for all our mains! I knew, right then and there, that this duology is definitely for keeps. It's something that I will treasure and love and always remember forever. The Crows have tugged at my heartstrings and I'm literally just so speechless as to how Leigh Bardugo managed to do this to me in a span of two books. Six of Crows was one of the best books I've ever read last 2015, Crooked Kingdom definitely holds a title for the best books I've read this year as well.
“We meet fear. We greet the unexpected visitor and listen to what he has to tell us. When fear arrives something is about to happen.”
And I can't believe this is the end!!!!! I've always told myself that Leigh Bardugo might change her mind and add a book or two to the duology. But it turns out that didn't happen. And I am very sad. But this series is too precious to me it kinda doesn't even really matter anymore (I guess???).
“They don't know who we are. Not really. They don't know what we've done, what we've managed together. So let's go show them they picked the wrong damn fight.”
That's all I can really say as of the moment. If I'll be able to compose a better review than this one (because let's be honest, Crooked Kingdom deserves better than this), I'll certainly post it.
"No mourners."
"No funerals."
anyway just let me fucking cry about this duology forever and ever bc there’s NO WAY i’ll ever get over it!!!

ITS OVER
WHYYYYYYYYYYY
I STILL CANT GRASP THE FACT THAT THIS IS ONLY A DUOLOGY *SOBS*
