Well, that was disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I still love the world and the characters and their relationships with one another and the main plot of the series. But I just didn't like the main plot of this book. I mean Ronan's storyline. I really like the idea behind it, just not the execution. That was no fun to read at all.
I also missed them all together. I liked to see them in these smaller constellations, but because there was no time for them to spend together, it all felt a little all over the place and disconnected.
The gay jokes were unnecessary in my opinion. I guess it's supposed to be a boys thing, but it just annoyed me.
And I was sad that there was so little Blue and her family overall. Because every scene with Blue's family shines in these books. I love them so much.
The ending was amazing again btw. and makes me curious for the next book.
