Gravity by Tess Gerritsen

5.0

My first experience of Tess Gerritsen. I picked up the book because I had (half-) enjoyed the film of the same name and had a vague recollection that there was some oblique connection between book and film, although a read of the blurb made it obvious that it wasn't a direct connection.

I found the early parts boring and detail-ridden, but persisted, and eventually read the last three hundred pages in one sitting. Unlike many books with a huge theme I found that the conclusion was mostly convincing, and didn't leave me hugely disappointed. Four stars for the telling and five for the theme.
