bookishlizz 's review for:
Splintered
by A.G. Howard
I'll fully review this later.
However, the ONLY reason I kept reading is because I liked the premise of the book - the whole Alice/modern-Wonderland/generational thing was interesting to me. I just couldn't keep my interest piqued. I didn't really like the characters and I never really connected with the story. I think this book would make a great movie or television show (I never say that), but it felt really visual.
I remember a writing teacher saying that to me in college ... it wasn't a compliment :( I don't mean it as "not" a compliment here, I just mean to say that this story would lend itself really well to that medium.
