  • Loveable characters? Yes
  • Diverse cast of characters? It's complicated
Once again, Travis Baldree delivers a low- (but not no-) stakes look at those in-between and after times seldom covered in fantasy novels and TTRPG campaigns. Maybe it won’t inspire me to run a campaign set in a bookstore, but it might inspire me to think more about what our barbarians and warlocks are doing when they aren’t out slaying dragons.
