Janus Silang and the Creature of Tabon by Carljoe Javier
2.0
This was an odd read not just because I had to read it on my laptop (and ebooks are my least favorite way to read although I am grateful to get to read any way I can) but the art style changed for the second half of the book without explanation. (Maybe I missed something?)
The premise was interesting enough with computer gamers suddenly dying mysterious gruesome deaths somehow linked to Philippine folklore. I guess this new graphic novel series for older teens and adults was adapted from a Filipino chapter book series.
I'll still read the second volume coming out next year just to see how it ends.
