absolute pure fluff, which works sometimes, but here it didn't

the pacing obliterates any tension, we begin the book with an immediate time jump that skips over the rivalry between the two leads, we get an abundance of focus on characters from the other books in the series, taking away attention from the lead couple to discuss the issues of characters i haven't read; and last, and honestly certainly the most egregious thing was the flood of Hamilton references... in fact, one of the sex scenes ends in a Hamilton quote.

if you want something mindless that kinda doesn't really make sense then this will be enjoyable. as it stands, this is 340 pages of missed potential.
