Love, Chloe by Alessandra Torre
5.0
This review contains SOME semi-Spoilers, but not really. Just a heads up.
Uhm I just found my new book best friend. Chloe is pretty much my favorite person at the moment. Not that I have huge book bff standards, but whatever.
I loved this story. Not having read the entries on Cosmo.com I got to see the story without any opinions on Chloe. I loved that at the beginning you were not 100% sure what Chloe's story would end up being about. Or who her love interest would end up being. It gave the story more of a refreshing feel because how many times when you're single do you imagine yourself with whatever guy you find attractive. I liked this aspect of the book and kind of kept me on my toes thinking, "oh I hope it's him."
Vic - the reformed(maybe) ex, could he be the one again?
Clarke - the kind married older man with a wife who doesn't appreciate him.
Joey - the sexy, but jerky actor.
Carter - the hottest, kind, and oh yeah (average) working class man.
Be still my heart for the man she ends up with, isn't all he seems. He's 10 times more perfect than what he seems. We don't go super in depth with any of the men in my opinion, which is fine, because Chloe loves who she picks. In turn, I love him too.
Anywho Chloe learns some, cries some, and loves a ton! I think this was a great read and quite possibly my favorite of Torre's work so far! That is saying something because I LOVED HOLLYWOOD DIRT!! I mean LOVED!
Can't wait to see what's next. Would love a Joey story. And a Vic story. Anthology for this group??? Haha I can dream!
