When I read an ebook, I’m usually good with it. I want a hard copy of this one! I found myself re-reading parts and I need to be able to hold a copy in my hand.
I didn’t want to like this book. I knew that there was a big age gap but I also knew that the age was barely legal and there could be a murky history. I was hoping it wouldn’t be too “icky” in it’s taboo-ness. It wasn’t too “icky” for me. I. Loved. It!
The story was great. I loved that we met Louise and her guardian monster before we met LouLou and Z. The storyline was well done and if you squinted at the “icky” stuff you forgot how taboo it was. They’re lead up to the sex scenes was hilarious!
But I’m hooked. Apparently I have some other Giana Darling books to start on.
