I loved everything about this book! It has faeries, vampires, shadow beasts, portals and plenty of magic.
Opal’s journey from thinking she was a disappointment to being strong and confident was heartbreaking but inspiring as well while watching her find strength to cope with events in her life, making new friends, falling in love and even betrayal.
I really enjoy the side characters too! I’m hoping there will be more on them in future books.
There are two male love interests. One is a definite cinnamon roll and the other is dark, scary and dangerous but is there more to him? Go preorder Shaedes of Power! It comes out March 11!
