The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

5.0

i loved it more then I wanted to. At first I wasn't into it. I felt like I was losing interest. Then things started to change and I fell into the book. My whole heart ached and raced with Mara. The paranormal element was perfect and captivating. This book held me from chapter 3 to the end and now I can't wait to see if I can find volume 2.
Mara had been through a lot and in the middle of high school at that. Her life was hard to understand and a new school was even harder. After the death of her friends in a freak accident, she decides moving is better than staying and getting locked away in an asylum. She finds herself freaking out at every little thing she thought she saw. But in the blink of an eye things were back to normal. She meets her newest best friend and the hottest boy in school, who happens to want her attention.
Noah Shaw is know for breaking hearts. He has a reputation for sleeping around and leaving girls crazy over him. The more she fights it though the more Noah pulls her in. And with all the weird things happening he shows her they are more a like then she thinks. Totally in love with this book.
