Norse mythology in a magical world with slow built romance? Yes please!

Loved

• The world the author created
• The slow build romance between Bjorn and Freya
• The spice was spicy but didn’t happen until I was invested in the story as a whole which was nice!
• The plot twist of Freya having blood from two gods

Meh

• Freya’s loud (and continuously incorrectly directed) anger got old very fast
• So many good characters died!
• It felt very obvious that Bjorn wasn’t working for his father and it was frustrating watching Freya be constantly clueless

• Freya’s family
