There was some interesting plot stuff in here, but there’s still a struggle to find what made the show work in the pages of the comics, particularly as it pertains to the characters. These folks just don’t feel like the characters I spent years getting to know and love. It doesn’t help that this first volume of issues is still picking up the pieces of the wreckage that was season eight.
