Jules and Ruben 🥰 as much as I’ve been impatient, was worth the wait for their book. It was really cute to see the usually serious and solemn pair, become loved up and lighthearted. The two of them got surprisingly spicy too - surprising because it’s them, high spice levels is kinda a given with the Stay a Spell series. I also really appreciated the change in scenery, with this book mostly taking place in England as a lot of the rest of the series has focused on New Orleans.

Saying that, some of the audiobook accents were.. awkward and inconsistent. It was disappointing when the character stated they’re from Newcastle but the narrator didn’t even attempt a Geordie accent. Though, if the Scottish accent was anything to go by, maybe that was a blessing in disguise.
