This made a really good point about how romance books will sometimes have alcohol in them for the sake of lowering inhibitions to get the characters together, and now I can't stop thinking how that's a really good point and romanticises getting super drunk to make being vulnerable with a potentual romantic partner easier.

But even beside that revalation, the book is good and fun and I think the trauma is written very well for Reese. How the panic and anxiety and awkwardness is portrayed
and how coming out of the lunch scene where she was short of money, she's holding on to her anger from it because she doesn't want to forgive too easily and be used but it means she can't see that it was an honest mistake and she could have called Arden but having that help of someone who could be there just didn't even cross her mind as a possibility.
