If you can suspend your disbelief and get past the awful trope of insta-love, then I think you will really enjoy this book. Aliens kidnapping women to breed, because women are so rare in their culture. And scars can deem a man unfit to protect a woman and children. Definitely not believable how quickly the main character adapted to her surroundings, but I feel like that's part of the suspended disbelief. The story only works if you believe that she's on board 100%. I love the bits of writing describing her relationship with her girls. It becomes a bit creepy when you know all the men are looking at the two tiny girls as potential mates for the men of their culture, to help continue the species. Ugh. But overall, it's a good book. Definitely drew me in and kept me interested.
