 My absolute favorite. Shows children that differences can seem like a weakness but can be turned into superpowers. When Cece opens up about her hearing and tells her classmates what she can do, her class is shocked and begins to slowly treat her more normally. This is also a wonderful story to expose children to different cultures and communities outside of their own and shows them how to respectfully communicate with deaf or hard of hearing person.
