Pachinko

At first this book was so enchanting and fascinating in how it portrayed Korean-Japanese relations through the years and you really are invested in Sunja, but it was way more sexual and crass than necessary especially as the generations progress and I felt like there wasn’t enough of a conclusion to feel like there was any kind of message that was meaningful to me.
