All I could think while listening (audiobook) to the first half was “This is not going to end well”. The initial forced outing that set everything in motion was harsh, nobody deserve that. Felix reaction, aka his plan to uncover who did it, was very realist for a teenager, even if it was not a good plan. The second half had me in a stronghold: I wanted to know who did it, I wanted to know how the plan would unravel, I wanted the best for Felix. And I got my answers, I got my ending. I don’t like forced outings, because it implies a lost of control that I fear myself, but it was the characters that got me eventually.
