Something about this woman’s writing… it’s just so simple. I keep reading her books despite each one having an ending that has me like… “oh”.
I was super invested for the first half, and I feel like it’s always something along those things. With these books, it’s always like “the first half is awesome… and then falls off” or “the first half was super bad… but the ending was great”.
The twist was just predictable to me, which was unfortunate. The ending tied up too nicely for a Freida book. Will I keep reading this woman’s work? Probably. So, what does that day about me?
