If a book was written from the perspective of those around the deeply depressed main character of Kafka's Metamorphosis.

Deeply frustrating and sad. I feel deeply emotional yet somehow unable to cry, as if I was just informed of the death of an acquaintance I did not particarly like but could always relate to.

I feel like this is the type of story that will surely become a favourite after some time.
