I don't feel like I read a book about taste but more about classes. All of that in an English very complicated for someone who's not a native speaker. When I usually don't struggle much to read other books in English, for this one I had to keep a dictionary under hand and re-read some pages multiple time, which was kinda ironic considering the topic.

For real I was expecting to read a book about how society decides what is good or bad taste, see how minimalist and kitsch can provoke so different reactions and it was about society, class, feminism, ecology. But not about taste.
