We first meet Landon in Tinsel as the cop who takes her statement after she was mugged. He is on the hunt for his perfect match, and while Sophia refused him, she did so because of a broken heart. However, when she pushed him towards Aubrey, she knew that he would be attracted to Aubrey's backbone.

When we first meet Aubrey, she is growing tired of the demand on her, wishing she had some support in her corner. But female Billionaires are always expected to have it together, work harder, never be emotional, etc, and she's finding trouble dialing that back now that her thoughts are straying to Landon and his annoying phone calls and office visits.

Though there wasn't a ton of wallowing in feelings, there were plenty of inner monologues on Aubrey's part. We didn't get a ton of depth to Landon, just a go with the flow kind of dude who was looking for an equal partner and had a bit of a complicated story with his family that we only hear about towards the end as things are wrapping up. There was still plenty of angst and anticipation though to wrap up this series! I have to say, Tragic was probably my favorite of the series!
