I really wanted to like this book but the writing felt so choppy. Scenes didn’t flow. Dialogue didn’t flow. It was just mediocre to me. Even the parts where it’s following the movie felt so off when it’s supposed to be the same.
I really wanted to read this series but don’t really want to if there’s not a fluidity to it. I love the premise and how dark the story turned. It was wickedly enthralling. Just felt bored actually reading it if that makes sense.
