It was pretty difficult to get into this book, I probably got motivated around 50% through, and then really only finished because my Libby book was due.
The writing was a bit of an adjustment, but after getting used to it, I appreciated how scenes and feelings were conveyed. I do feel like it gave the reader a way to grow with Circe and live through her experiences with her. I liked how reflective Circe was of her surroundings and interactions with people.I'm so so glad she got a happy ending (or we're led to believe she does).
This book was an opportunity to read about Greek mythology in a way I've never done before too. Unclear if I'll read Achilles though...
