I adore Norse mythology and this was just the fix I needed! It’s a wonderful novella that feels just like a story told round a campfire at night under the stars. My daughters namesake, the Goddess Freya is there along with other Gods you know.
Once again this book is illustrated by Chris Riddell and his illustrations really make this story what is it, they are haunting and detailed.
Loved this and can’t wait to read it to Freya when she’s older!
