LOVE THIS BOOK!!! Some of you already know how special it was for me. Tori was…is the first Puerto Rican MC to look like me and it felt amazing. Like reading about me. I’m still on the lookout for more Black PR MCs but this was a great way to start.
Tori is this badass personal trainer, with the body I’d have if I wasn’t so lazy, that’s not with the BS, is funny, confident, ambitious, knows what she wants and is a wizard, apparently, because she sleeps without a bonnet and wakes up with amazing curls. HOW?
