OMG what have I just read? This is literally such an underrated book.

-Characters, Plot and Setting:
These characters were so lovable and inspiring and I can't explain how much I love them. Steph was such an icon and I absolutely love her. Kiera and Claire are literally some of the best MC's I have ever read about. They're so smart and ambitious and their love for SLAY is amazing.

I have never read a book more plot-driven than this one and that was such a nice change. I love how the author always focused on it and there weren't any plot holes. There were some moments which were character driven and I liked that since it kept the book fresh in my mind. There were so many plot-twists at the end and they were all incredible!

The worldbuilding of SLAY is AMAZING to say the least. It was so interesting to read about and I honestly wanted to learn about it a bit more.

-Pace and writing style:
The pacing picked up after around 100 pages really quickly and and kept me on the edge of my seat for the rest of it. The writing style was a little basic for me but it wasn't such a huge problem since it just made me go through the book faster.

-Other ideas:
I would honestly love it if there was a sequel to this book especially after that spectacular ending!

-Pacing:
The pacing was a bitt off in the beginning which made it hard to get into the book as easily as I would've wanted.

-Other ideas:
Kiera's boyfriend, Malcolm was honestly the character I hated the most in this book. He was so annoying and almost everything he said/did was a red flag. The plot-twist at the end was literally so surprising but it makes so much sense and I am so happy that Steph reported him to the police.

"I am a queen, and this is my game."

"Because I'm the game developer.
Nobody knows. Not even my family. Not even my boyfriend, Malcolm."
