Brilliant high-fantasy novel with fantastic characters and world building. I can't quite grasp the howling execution of the Dreyris. Their whole beings are so well thought out; their personalities, choice of clothing, manners and traditions. Utterly marvelous. Also the foreshadowing with Hirka's good sense of smell. Loved it.
