When a movie based on the comics based on Kitty Ravencraft's life goes into production, Kitty goes to Hollywood to star. Too bad person or persons unknown want her dead...
I enjoyed [b:Die Kitty Die Volume 4: Starstruck|57402107|Die Kitty Die Volume 4 Starstruck|Dan Parent|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1615693548l/57402107._SX50_.jpg|89865082] quite a bit so I picked this up from Dan Parent's website.
Once again, Dan Parent & Fernando Ruiz, two Archie mainstays, unite to produce something that would never get published at Archie. Kitty's second adventure is full of action, comedy, cleavage, and more cleavage as she endures hardships unnumbered to see her movie get maid.
There are lots of parodies of Harvey characters in this, like Hot Stuff, Casper, and Richie Rich. Classic TV shows like Bewitched, I Love Lucy, and Star Trek also go through the wringer. The artwork in this is a couple notches above what the pair does in Archie books. I guess that's what happens when you work on a labor of love at your own pace.
