I appreciated the rhyming patterns and inventive forms in this book. One poem that particularly stands out is "Great American Discoveries" which is a found poem containing headlines lifted directly from local and national news outlets. The headlines begin with the names of states arranged alphabetically. Many poems are written in paragraph prose form, including a series of narrative poems about a woman named Hope which are scattered throughout the book.
