I loved this story, but the ending went on a lot longer than it should have. There was a particular, very powerful ending point, but then the book continued beyond that, and nothing more really happened other than the main character re-thinking things she had already thought multiple times.

Still, the book makes me want to keep reading Alice Hoffman. I can't believe it took me this long to discover her!
