Finally read this and honestly, maybe I need to touch grass, but this wasn't as "intense" as I expected. The book peaks at the a specific scene, maybe about a third of the way through?, and fails to surpass it. Addie's story is what mostly kept me captivated, thoug  all other parts of the plot just seemed too convient in a sense. The ending, though expected, did still leave me wanting more. Not terrible, but definitely overhyped in my opinion.
