I absolutely LOVED this book. It was exciting, emotional, frustrating, funny, and SPICY. Everything I love in a book.

The world building in my opinion was fantastic. I was actually both amazed and impressed with this storyline. You could easily see how much thought and effort was put into writing this. The languages, the way different cultures were explained in such detail you could picture it vividly. I loved how the roles were for women in Antalis. I genuinely wished the real world was that way. I think that’s one of the things I loved most about this book.

The twists and turns were everything too. I found myself loving characters I hated at the beginning of the book and being shocked at how everything led up to that change for me. I absolutely adore Carnaxa but I honestly loved getting to know every character. Siphonie was also a favorite. Her free-spirited nature was great and I enjoyed her. The men? MOST of them were so easily to love and they were hot 🥵 there were certain parts that elevated my heart rate and had me giggling kicking my feet.

The buildup to the end was also top tier. I didn’t feel this book lacked anything. It was perfect and I honestly cannot wait for the next book. The ending was perfect and stoped exactly where it should have because the anticipation for book two is going to hurt meeee but in the best way.

The multi-pov also gave just enough to fully understand what was happening but also left enough for the imaginations to run wild while awaiting the second book as well.

My fantasy readers, even romance readers who only dabble into fantasy would love this.
