I absolutely loved this book! This was hands down my favorite of the series! It was hilarious and had the perfect amount of drama and tension. No joke I was walking around campus like this (but listening to the audiobook instead):

It was also a strong final book for the series; we got to catch up with all of the characters from the previous books and everything tied up perfectly at the end.

Something I really liked about this book was how much time passed. We see Ellie and Logan and their relationship grow over the course of about 5 yrs then get a glimpse into their lives in the epilogue 5 yrs after that. It created a slow burn relationship (my favorite kind!!) and I really loved how it grounded their relationship. For 5 yrs they have constantly been around each other almost everyday and you can really see where their feelings came from; it didn't feel rushed or like it came out of nowhere (my problem with the last book). They had such a great relationship and went really well together. Ellie showed him how to be more adventurous and Logan showed her to be more cautious, their personalities really complimented each other. I also loved how this long time period allowed us to see what was going on during the other books as well, like Ellie and Olivia's father getting sober.

I also loved how the story started, showing a scene from the end. Once I got to that part in the actual book, it definitely wasn't what I was expecting.

The characters also felt like they had so much more depth than in the previous books. I felt like we got to see a whole new, caring side of the Queen. I absolutely adored Ellie, she was definitely my favorite character. She was so funny, smart, witty and had so much more to her than meets the eye. And Logan. *Heart eyes* He was amazing. In the first book he seemed pretty stoic and not very distinguishable from the other guards. I loved how we really delved into his past. I also loved about learning more about the other guards too.

I had so many favorite scenes, I could gush about this book for hours! My only problem is that it isn't longer!
