it was always one of my favourite books when i was younger. reading it now i am older and far more aware of the world was such a cathartic and gripping experience. i knew exactly what was going to happen but every chapter, every moment and every word gripped me as much as it did the first time. malorie blackman is beyond talented and noughts and crosses will always remain one of my favourite books in all its heartbreaking glory.
