I had to stop reading a few times because of the jump scares this book gave me. No joke, I felt my heart curving through my throat at times. At other times I was jumping on the bed, at others i was screaming at sentences.
Not a fun sight.
My family already thinks I'm crazy, this book really let that sink in.
Anyhow what I'm trying to say is; i have a certain level of cringe slash awkwardness tolerance and even though this book exceeded it, i still read on.
So i guess it was a good kind of cringe if that's even a thing.
I know this review sounds like a roast, but even though I had to stop reading a few times to recharge from some of the awkward scenes, I still highly enjoyed the book regardless.
