Sanctuary of the Shadow by Aurora Ascher

Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.

Perhaps it's just not the right timing for me to be reading this one. I just struggled to get into the story and to form attachement to the characters. I think there is some really cool concepts here but I couldn't get through them. I also found out some spoilers that happen later on and they are really my yuck so that also made it hard to get into knowing where the story was going. It such a shame because the book itself is simply stunning to look at.
