i want to start this off by saying thank you SOO much to the author for letting me receive an arc of this book and i am sorry if this review makes no sense it is 1am.

i LOVEDDD this book. firstly, the characters 💕💗💓💖💘 bennett was such a good main character. i related to him heavily. the way the book described his struggles with dysphoria/being stuck in the mundane realm hit me really hard. i loved seeing him form his relationships with callum and jesse. callum was so caring and kind, i LOVE a “grumpy” character in books. jesse was so bubbly and sweet. idk what else to say except i loved them!!!

the story with bennett’s parents and what happened to his magic was really interesting and i had no idea where the author would take it. the writing was really well done and i was never confused about the magic or what was occurring which i heavily appreciated.

overall, i definitely recommend this book to anyone interested!!
