Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.

Wordy and dense but also really slow. Incredibly distant narrator which was a stylistic choice I just don't enjoy. And the philosophical parts were beyond me, like that chapter of different ways to prove 2+2=5. Overall, the reading experience was completely not what every glowing review I'd read led me to expect, which was a major bummer.
