Absolutely heartbreaking masterpiece. Deserves all the accolades. I am in awe of how Kingsolver evokes place and people. I am humbled by the love she obviously has for the region. I am maddened and saddened by how we have and continue to harm people with our greed and misconceptions. I am heartened by the strength and determination of the people of the region to survive. I am sure Demon's voice will stick with me for a along time.
