Let This Radicalize You: Organizing and the Revolution of Reciprocal Care
by Mariame Kaba, Kelly Hayes
As someone who is newer to activism, or just generally being involved with things, this book gave me a better footing and helped me to feel a bit more hopeful. If you haven't come from a community of care, or at least like a lot of us come from a very individualistic culture, it can be hard to figure out what collective movement and social care really look like. I appreciated the appendixes of this book as well that had helpful tips in regards to protests and talking to the cops. I listened to the audiobook, which takes about 11 hours, from my local library - I am going to pick up a physical one to reference and to share.
