The Way the Crow Flies by Ann-Marie MacDonald

5.0

what a terrifying book. It goes to prove that the things you think you fear or ought to fear are irrelvant while the your trust in others is unfounded. Set in the cold war at a military base it starts off slow and pedantic and then builds up to every parent's nightmare.

A lesson in communication and assumptions and what is unsaid and half said and unasked and unanswered.
