Skylar is hella annoying, and plot is a mix of a lot of things happening off page (where all the information is) with stupid decisions made by Skylar (like why you’d run into arms of the enemy that can only gain ground if they capture you and kill you, their agenda is impossible if they can’t capture you 🤦‍♀️).

It’s basically a mixed bag of frustrating writing, and unfortunately every plot driving device that kinda got resolved there at the end was so bland, that I’m not sure if there’s any point in picking up later books.

I might. It wasn’t the worst.
