Thoughts
- This book would be perfect for a book club
- Layers upon layers upon layers! Grief, suicide, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, cheating, honesty. So many things are explored in this book and yet it never felt like too much. Very well done.
- Perfect ending. I wasn't sure how she'd land this plane, and somehow she did it.
- Espach navigated tricky waters with this one. There are a lot of subjects that could be problematic or dark, but this book is surprisingly hopeful and life-affirming. In so glad I read it.
Graphic: Grief
Moderate: Infertility, Infidelity, Suicide attempt, Death of parent
Minor: Animal death
