Collide

Whoa. This book was a freaking rollercoaster from the beginning.
I really liked the writing style, though it wasn't particularly unique. It was common, yet it worked well for this book.
And this book...I don't know how I felt about it, honestly. Like, I don't like any books where any of the main characters cheat, or when the main character is naïve and pretty clueless for the whole thing, like this one. But I did like the storyline. It was really interesting, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I didn't know what was going to happen, and every time I predicted something, it was wrong. The book had soooo many surprises in it, and sometimes I literally hated them and wanted to throw the book, but other times I was just jumping up and down in joy. There was so much in this book; love, betrayal, hurt, loss, confusion, hate....everything. I really liked it, and I loved how it played out.
BUT THAT CLIFFHANGER. I hated the ending. It was awful, but it just made the book that much more better, to be honest. I can't explain it.
Now, the characters. Emily. I felt her to be naïve, and I felt as though she wasn't very independent. She relied on people the whole book, and she was childish a lot. Not to mention, she went to conclusions very easily, and I found the choices she made to be stupid. But that made her more real to me, which is why I liked her.
Gavin...amazing. I loved this man. He was demanding, sweet, loveable, and just everything you could want in a man. Though, some of his choices just angered me, and sometimes he just made me mad. Though, they were all necessary.
I hated Dillion. He was a bastard, and everything he did got on my nerves.
The other characters, like Olivia and Trevor and Fallon were awesome. They made the story, and they were great friends.
Overall, I really liked this book, and I can't wait to get to the second one.
