i swearrrr that ending i was about to boycott the sequel but ms gong saved it with that epilogue. an absolute delight of a book, so cool to read about 1920s shanghai & i love a gangster moment. yea i was rooting for all our main characters even tho they r literal criminals they are so loveable juliette is my GIRL
